What's Better? Review #1

What's Better? Review - Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel VS Simple Kind To Skin Vital Vitamin Foaming Cleanser

Hello again, Niblets!  Here is my very first What's Better? Review, and I am so excited to review these two items!  Here are the two products:

Time To Brawl!

I've been a HUGE fan of Simple ever since I was small, and have recently started adding Simple back into my daily face routine!  All of Simple's products aren't tested on animals, are Vegan, and filled with skin loving vitamins and nutrients!  So let's get Started!

The Ingredient Test

First up, is the Ingredient Test!  Let's start with the Foaming Cleanser:

Foaming Cleanser - Front and Back Information

The foaming cleanser contains added moisturisers, and no perfume or colour.  It also contains:

Pro-Vitamin B5 - Actively restores, softens and smoothes
Vitamin E - Moisturises to improve skin condition
Glycerin - Hydrates and nourishes
Chamomile - Softens and soothes
Geranium - Conditions and regenerates

And NO unnecessary ingredients and NO harsh chemicals, so it won't upset your skin!

And now let's look at the Facial Wash Gel:

Facial Wash Gel - Front and Back Information

The facial wash gel contains no soap, and no perfume or colour.  It also contains:

Pro-Vitamin B5 - Actively restores, softens and smoothes

And NO unnecessary ingredients and NO harsh chemicals, so it won't upset your skin!

RESULT: Simple's foaming cleanser has 6 ingredients for happy skin, whereas their facial wash gel only has 1 skin happy ingredient.

Swatch Test

Next up is the swatch test, let's get started!  First up is the foaming cleanser:

  Foaming Cleanser Swatch

The foaming cleanser is super foamy and light, and applies well to your face.  The bottle says 2 pumps, but one is just enough (One pump of the product is shown)

And now the Facial Wash Gel:

Facial Wash Gel Swatch

The facial wash gel is sticky and feels quite heavy on my face.  No bubbles appear, because there is no soap in the product.

RESULT: Simple's foaming cleanser is much nicer to use than their facial wash gel.

Final Verdict

Simple's foaming facial wash is much better for your skin and is nicest to use, whereas their facial wash gel has less skin loving ingredients and is not very nice to use.

Winner - Simple's Kind To Skin Vital Vitamin Foaming Facial Wash!

Simple's products are in a good price range and are great for sensitive skin.  You can buy there products here:

Nillie's Rave Review #1

Nillie's Rave Review -Soap and Glory's Face Soap and Clarity

Hello little Niblets!  Here is my very first rave review, and I am so happy to share this great product with you!  Here is the picture of this great product:

Front and Back View Of The Product

The packaging is super cute, which really drew me to this product, which my sister and I chose in our local Boots store last year.  It costs £7.00, which I think is a really good price for the amount and quality in the product.  You can buy this in Sephora for $16.00 if you live anywhere else in the world.  Another thing that really drew me to this product is that Soap and Glory NEVER test on animals, and almost every product of theirs is Vegan certified, apart from Dr. Spot, which I love!  Also, even though the name says 'Face Soap and Clarity', the product contains no Soap whatsoever, so it's great for dry, sensitive skin like mine!

Front View Information

On the front of the packaging, for those who can't read it, it says:
'For the chemistry sticklers who may scrutinize the ingredient list, we will readily admit: this is technically not a "Soap". NOPE. This is a high-tech, non-drying foaming facial wash, formulated with complexion friendly non-drying easy-rinse surfacants.
(Try and form a relevant pun out of that, we dare you.) Dictionary be damned, it will do a bang-up job at washing your face.'

Back View Information

And on the back of the packaging, it says:
'Keep your nose clean (along with other visible parts of your face) -
Squeeze a grape size measure onto slightly damp skin and rub until a soft lather forms all over.  Rinse well (and follow with eye cream and moisturiser).'

'Face Soap (and clarity) was safely/efficacy tested in the UK on a group of women who were looking to ditch some dirt.'

So, let's get down to the review!
First of all, it has small beads in it, which help scrub dirt from your skin, they are bright pink and look super cute in the bottle!  It also smells (Supposedly) of 'Plum', but it really doesn't in my opinion. It smells very fresh, but I can't think of what it smells like; Very nice smell, though!  It's a very pretty aqua colour in the bottle and a very translucent aqua out of the bottle, which I really like, because I love colourful things so much! I suffer from oily, dry, acne-prone skin, and this has worked a charm.  My skin is so much softer and clearer after using this - and I would recommend this to anyone who suffers from acne and break-outs!  It lathers up really nicely, and a little goes a long way!  Here is the amount that I use on a daily basis:

Swatch of Face Soap and Clarity

I really love this product, so I'm going to rate it 5/5!  Here is a list of places you can buy it from:
